After many year competing all around the world with epic victories on ct and wqs 6 stars, Trent , aka Munners decided to quit the Dream Tour and launch Trent Munro Academy of Surfing where he, and his team dispatch and share experience and techniques of surfing on uncrowded spot.
Freaksurf Mag : Can you give us a few words on your greta career on the Dream Tour ?
Trent Munro : Had a great time, great waves and was able to meet a bunch of excellent people upon my journey around the world. It was just a bonus to be on the podium holding the winners trophy eight times
FSM : What was in your opinion the positive aspect on Tour ?
TM : Most of the time perfect waves in great locations
The best moment of your Career ?
Departing the tour with a win! It was my last ever surfed heat in rd one. Mundaka 07
The worst ?
All the travelling time on planes and in airports

Whose surfer has impressed you the most on Tour ?

What do you think about the level on the actual dream Tour ?
Always has had the best surfers in the world, you cannot deny that...
Your feeling about the new world Tour ?
Yeah should be a little more exciting foresure, i think we will see alot of new faces coming in and out very frequent in coming years.
Is the possible REBEL TOUR by espn a good thing for surfing ?
I believe so
What do you thing about your fellow new generation Owen Wright ....
To be truthful, i have not seen much of his surfing so i don’t like to comment until i do see someone surf.
Lots of people have criticized Jadson Andre's after his victory, what do you think about this young freak !
Again i do not like to comment until i witness.
Now tell me all about your Trent Munro Academy !
Yeah it has been an excellent way for me to step off tour and start TMSA. Basically running surf school programs in my local area. The biggest success hasdefinatly been my more personalised programs such as ‘Surfing Getaways’ which you can participate with either family or a bunch of friends in uncrowded waves.

Would you be ready for a drive thru series, where and whose teamates ?
I have just been on i guess A DRIVE THRU. A trip to Asia with old travel buddies Phil Maca, Mick Campbell. Next time i would defiantly like to have Lee Winkler, Willsy, Abberton join.
