ESPN the Magazine’s 'Body Issue' hits newsstands Oct. 9, and features more than 30 male and female athletes showing off their money makers.

So far ESPN has been keeping a lid on who will be in the Body Issue, but USA Today reports Nascar’s Carl Edwards, surfer Claire Bevilacqua, U.S. Olympic softball player Jessica Mendoza, and Adrian Peterson are among the chosen.

After the success of this inaugural edition, ESPN The Magazine presents his second Body Issue spotlighting nearly 40 nude athletes as you've never seen them before. In this 2010 Skin Issue, nine-time World Champion Kelly Slater disrobes in front of Dewey Nicks' lens running naked through a field.

The ESPN Body Issue is back in 2011 presenting many sports stars completely bare such as Olympic gymnast Alicia Sacramone, women's soccer star Hope Solo, LPGA rookie Belen Mozo, track and field star Natasha Hastings, tennis player Vera Zvonareva or four time world surf champ Steph Gilmore nude & exposed laid on a beach chair.
