CAPBRETON, France - The Euroforce and Quiksilver have launched a series of exclusive retrospective video episodes featuring last year's ASP World Tour European surfers Jeremy Flores (FRA), Miky Picon (FRA), Aritz Aranburu (EUK) and Tiago Pires (PRT). All epsiodes will be webcast at www.myspace.com/euroforce2009 before each of the 2009 ASP World Tour events and followed by a wrap-up show at the end of each stop of this year's Dream Tour.
These "webisodes" will take all surfing fans behind the scenes of the prestigious ASP World Tour and give them the opportunity to follow Europe's best surfers which have grown from four to an unprecendent 7-man contingent in 2009. From Australia's perfect sandbanks to Tahiti's crystal clear waters, including stop-overs in South Africa, France, California or Brazil, the Euroforce will take their fans on a round-the-world trip at the heart of surfing's elite action.
The retrospective of the 2008 ASP World Tour tells the story of Aritz, Jeremy, Miky and Tiago, friends and rivals, who aim at taking European professional surfing to its highest level ever after qualifying for the ASP World Tour. A year of competition, travel, training, success and hard times, and an upcoming promissing season with seven Europeans including the three rookies Michel Bourez, Tim Boal and Marlon Lipke... European surfing is definitely on the rise and it will all be online.
The "Euroforce World Tour 08/09" is supported by the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Europe.
